Goal Setting

In conjunction with our martial arts training, we like to teach a different life skill each month. October’s life skill is Goal Setting. This week we are talking about making your goals more specific. Instead of just saying I want to be better at karate, we teach our students to say I want to get my black belt by October 2018. It helps to quantify your goal so you it is easier to track, for example instead of saying I want to read more books, set your goal to read 2 books each month. That way you now have a way to measure your progression towards your goal.
