Our After School Karate Program Breaks Boards!

In After School, Kids Martial Arts Classes, Summer Camp by Don Alley

This week in our martial arts classes and after school program we are breaking boards, and training with the bo staff. TONS of fun!

It’s always one of my favorite weeks to teach, especially with the beginners, who start breaking boards for the first time.

Their faces are priceless as they blast through the board. They start off slightly apprehensive, then determined, then they go through the board and are shocked! Then that’s followed by a look of pride, and sometimes even deviance haha.

It’s the best.

And just a reminder, our after school students get to do this every month in our classes, too! After school students are automatically enrolled in our highest level of training, our Leadership Program, and can progress to first degree black belt, and even farther through our Master’s Club.

Don’t forget that this coming Saturday, July 22nd, is the cut off if you want a free week of after school care, and we will also waive the registration fee. Respond to this email or call us and set up a time to come in and find out why we had a waiting list last year 🙂

We currently pick up from all elementary schools in Ashburn, as well as most private schools, and three middle schools. This is our fourth year running an after school program, and we are more excited than ever to serve the Ashburn community.
