Great Leaders

Let’s Make This Our Motto

I’m going to tell on my mom…

When I was learning how to drive, she used to tell me, “Do as I say, don’t do as I do!” 🤣

I don’t remember the exact things she was telling me not to do…perhaps it was shaking her fist at “idiot drivers,” (her words ) maybe it was driving too aggressively…or it could have been riding the clutch on a hill. I can’t remember (I remember EVERYthing!)

While I’m playfully poking at my mom… as leaders, instructors, and parents, let’s renew our commitment to be the BEST versions of ourselves, and set an amazing example for the young leaders that are around us.

Instructors, let’s train as hard as we possibly can and INSPIRE our students to step up to a higher level.

Parents, let’s emulate the attitudes and etiquette and gestures we want our kids to see.

We are all leaders. We lead ourselves. We lead our kids. We lead our students. We are striving to be a positive influence in our communities, and ACTION will always speak louder than our words.

Do as I say, because it’s also as I do. Let’s make this our motto.

Btw, Mom (Margaret Martula), I love you to pieces. I just needed an example, and that was the first thing that came to my mind. Love you! ❤😘
