Stop & Bow… at Starbucks??

In Confidence, Discipline, Excellence, Summer Camp, Uncategorized by Don Alley

We are the products of our habits, whether good or bad. It’s been said that we are what we repeatedly do.

Which is why we regularly walk into Starbucks and BOW AT THE DOOR!

Every time we enter the karate school, we teach our students to bow in as a sign of respect. The karate school is an oasis, a place away from everything, where you can train and leave behind all other stresses, and push and challenge yourself mentally and physically.

So we bow in to honor the discipline and put ourselves in the right frame of mind for training. It isn’t weird to us. It’s what we do.

It just looks weird when we do it at Starbucks!

We play it off well… grabbing our shin, pretending to pick something up, scratching our foot.

But make no mistake. We just bowed into Starbucks.

Do you want your kids learning to form respectful habits like these, every single day this summer? They may be off from school, but learning to be focused and respectful is an everyday type of thing!

Our summer camp will be jam-packed with field trips, activists, sports, and of course—martial arts. And all the benefits of the training we include in our classes, your kids will get at our summer camp!

Check out our schedule, and register now to get as many weeks as you want, while they’re still available!

See you in camp!
